Marketing Strategy of Tailed Flower's Dadaism Story eventually arrives to labiennale noticeboard

Marketing Strategy of Tailed Flower

The portfolio, in total, has over 150,000 views and growing!

The marketing strategy for my business was an affordable digital marketing strategy for acrylic artworks with high exposure to the social media world with high SEO through digital galleries. Initially, I received high organic mutual followers on social media profiles. It was a time-consuming and fun learning curve in the social media and digital world as they were on high growth. As a result, I received the Public Choice award for three of my artworks two times, based on net promoter score and organic traffic to one of the largest digital art platforms, Biafarin, in art, and the Gold Award from the World Association of Artists. The globalization of traditional galleries through online galleries and competitions made the market very competitive because of the high load of online artwork submissions. The strength is that my artworks are paintings and unique light installations based on IoT - Smart Lamps and UV light lamps. Still, it worked as a weakness as it is a new concept hard to represent through a digital gallery without an actual presence in a traditional gallery to make the installations for the paintings along with the IoT technology, which are all high to afford now. However, I presented my three unique artworks to a well-known international gallery in conjunction with the Venice Biennial in September 2022.

I also received from the curator, Mara Campaner of the La Biennale di Venezia->Biennale Noticeboard->Accorsi Arte Gallery, the below critique :

TANIA STEFANIA KATZOURAKI
In painter Tania Stefania Katzouraki gushes with a definite will to make alternative and substitute worlds of
the chaotic magma that belongs to informal expressionism. This artist knows how to construct a painting of
meaning, which could be read in a spiritual, or even esoteric key. Her scans occupy a rational space where
different moments coexist, belonging to separate unconscious moments, and thus not responding to
preconstituted patterns. Tania's painting relates in a twofold way to the unreal, proposing itself on the one
hand with an abstractionism that alludes to spirituality, and on the other hand anchoring itself in the
concreteness of the recognizable, which delimits the interpretive spaces of representation

Mr Pepe is upset

Mr Pepe is upset

Who am I?
What do I do?
What do I have?
What’s my style?
Strangers think they know me; my friends don’t know me, people follow me!
My painter demonstrates me under green light to reveal my irritation, under red to portray my high pressure, and under UV light to make me look scary.
At day he is just Pepe, a fluorescent skunk, a cartoon character from Looney Tunes, and you learn to keep your breath for that long that he decides.
I don’t believe in anything; I write, feel, and paint from the heart.

Miss Tweety

March 31st, 2022

Miss Tweety

The Story:
Miss Tweety:
A legendary cartoon. Her looks are always cheerful. Fluorescent colors affect her solid and blissful emotions. The special light installations emphasize her figure’s red and yellow fluorescent colors. Deep orange depicts a radiance moment, whereas yellow depicts cold shining, apathy. The play between warm and cold light gives the impression of opposing emotional universes. One where she is a glassy and ready-to-break creature but in analogous colors to convey a sense of day harmony- warm color, and another, where she is overwhelmed and almost overpowered by circumstances that give her difficulty in breathing – cold colors. In this artwork, the cold green, which usually represents green irritation, leaves her unaffected and in ignorance regarding fear. The cold red environment glows her pupils as the cameras do across the light, giving her a glazed look. Is she aware of the cameras? No, she is not. At day she looks so ordinary and childish like all cartoon characters. She is always provoked to act and babble over the magical creatures she is surrounded by—one moment to lift them up and then swing them away.

Tailed Flower's Dadaism Story - Summary

November 28th, 2020

Tailed Flower

I am not against the world to be part of it , it is just my own reality is different than yours ! Tailed Flower is suffering !

What it is?
It is a Dadaism story through paintings and drawings colored with a mixture of ordinary and fluorescence colors and presented under special light installation, such as UV LED, black and white light.

Why to exist?
-To say a Dadaism story and view multiple versions of the paintings and drawings under various light installations.
-To create multiple designs of the same painting.
-To view the psychology of portrait due to the special coloring and lighting.
It is an Art movement to express a Dadaism story, Tailed Flower’s story, the artisan, through color contrast, psychology of colors and playful designs, all that, because of the light coordinate of the artwork!

How to create?
To create through a technique that it is based on the special mixture of the ordinary and fluorescence colors. A unique mixing of the fluorescent colors with the ordinary colors along with the special light installation produces a result that the human eye comprehends as a series of images from the same painting. Those series of images may differ in color, layout or even design.
For example, an ordinary orange color is presented as a dark color under UV light, whereas a fluorescence orange color glows under UV light. The emerging images are product of the light coordinate and NOT digital manipulation.

Introduction of Tailed Flower's Dadaism Story

Introduction of Tailed Flower

Introduction: Fluorescence (Fluo) Dadaism! Special light installations – the light coordinate within Spatialism

The Dadaism Story

It is a portfolio in art from a specific period of the artisan. An art portfolio that shall not be subjective but personal to the viewer.

I paint my own reality [Frida Kahlo]!
The only thing that I know is that I paint because I need to, and I paint whatever is in my head and pass through my life without my consideration.

I am not against Dada for being Dada!
I am not against the world to be part of it!
I am not against black for painting pop & fluorescence!
I am not against real for seeking magic!
I am not against still for having a story, Tailed Flower’s story!
[2nd International Modern Art Austria Biennial, 2017]

Being different is excellence, so I am letting fluorescence colors mixed with ordinary colors to fill in the gap towards the endless life abstract.

An attitude of Fluorescence colors shall bring again happiness! Fluorescence colors glow to express impressing.

Enjoy my Fluorescence Artworks.

Some History of Fluorescent Colors

The UV light stimulates the fluorescent (specimen mineral) within the color.
Fluorescent acrylic paintings and drawings, which are inspired by nature, as many deep-sea organisms use fluorescence, glow in dark under black lighting installation to point out the intense color, whilst being quite harsh.
Candlelight is quite forgiving, peaching a soft hue on human features and designs, whereas fluorescent light is quite harsh and likely to expose facial or design flaws within the artwork.

The Technique: Dadaism – Light Coordinate – Spatialism

Thin layer of paint is applied, in order to use the white of the canvas or paper.

Dadaism

Unexpected cartoon like elements are painted into a pictorial structure within a strange context, whilst bringing to light Tailed Flower’s story. Fluorescence pop colors aim to breathe a new contemporary concept into Dadaist idea (Chapter 6). Not only fluorescence and pop colors but also the collage type design aims to take this Dadaist artwork to the modern level of expressing through symbols to impress. Instead of provoking a part of the system my portfolio: ‘Tailed Flower’s series of paintings, aims to express through symbols a story which in turn aims to impress the rest of the system.

Spatialism

Special light installation (altering or combining RGB LED, UV light, black and white light) acts as a kind of environmental art encompassing exhibition space to generate the spatial coordinate. The light installation along with its reflection on the fluorescence color introduces the Spatialism character of the artwork.

Special Light installation is:
• Black light in dark
• White Light - day light
• RGB LED UV light in dark
• Strobe UV SMD LEDS in dark

For example in Chapter: 1.8 the painting with title: Fluo Leo images demonstrate the presentations of the fluorescence oil pastel portrait on canvas whilst:
- altering RGB LED lights and
-altering the white balance of the camera
to emerge abstract portraits and to present the various psychologies of the fluorescent colored portrait.

Light Reflection

Fluorescent Colors give significant different views on the appearance of the painting under special light installations. Two are the main presentations of a fluorescent colored painting: one is emerging under Ultra-Violet (UV) black light installation in the dark; and the other one in the day/white light. This special light installation introduces the light coordinate to demonstrate the different views of the special coloring of the painting and thus to introduce Spatialism immortalizing the pop culture of fluorescent colors and special light installations.
The spatial coordinate of the lighting along with the time generates various versions of the painting. A unique mixing of the fluorescent colors with the ordinary colors along with the special light installation produces a result that the human eye comprehends as a series of images from the same painting. Those series of images may differ in color, layout or even design.
This unique process of mixing ordinary with fluorescence acrylic colors determines the artisan’s technique. Depending on the lighting, the figures of the painting, which are produced with this technique, provides a series of images with figures that differ in hair color, skin color, size of eye pupil, clothes color and shadows. Further to that this technique can be applied to landscapes to provide images of the same landscape at day and simultaneously at nighttime. Last, but not least, hidden messages can also be written, and various color psychologies can be illustrated through portraits. All these applications of this technique can be utilized with the only addition of the spatial light coordinate of the combining black, white light, and UV LED RGB lights.

The Girl

November 28th, 2020

The Girl

The Story

A painting to capture a sense of immediately fresh atmosphere!

Fluorescence modern tones emphasize the innocence of the girl (Tailed Flower).

An innocent girl extracting creativity into innovative actions to break the glass box!

The Technique

The painting: ‘The Girl’ is a touch of a time traveling among different hair colors because of the alternation of black and white light.
Viewer needs to spend time to comprehend the light coordinate of the artwork.
The light coordinate presents the three different hair colors and appearances of the girl.

• In the first image, the painting is under day light, at which the painting represents a girl with blond hair and tiny eye pupils

• In the second image, the UV light emerges the dark brown hair and larger eye pupils

• In the third image, the painting is under black light and white light; UV light within a dark environment emerges the analogous fluorescent body colors and contrasts with the light brown hair color.

Fluo Shadowy Frown Woman

Fluo Shadowy Frown Woman

The Story

Life is a gift, experience is the beauty, abstract is the undefined part of us!

Blank eye looks avoiding looking back. However, it keeps coming in front to keep killing the present and the future!

Another day looking nowhere!

The Technique

The painting: ‘Flow Shadowy Frown Woman’ is a touch of color-traveling among dark and bright colors.

The ‘Flow Shadowy Frown Woman’ is inspired from the Guiditta e Oloferne by Caravaggio. History is here to present a future in a pop artistic way utilizing the texture of mixing ordinary with fluorescence colors.

Fluorescence modern tones emphasize the strong emotion of the woman. The wrinkles above nose, blushing cheeks, and eye look outshining in darkness expressing proud frustration.

Due to light coordinate the viewer comprehends the two different hair colors and appearances of the woman. Lines represent a rave frustration, which under day light smooths out.

The painting demonstrates analogous and complementary, even value contrast and patterns because of the special light installations.

In the first image, the painting is under day light:

• Pupils reveal that she is in day light as they are tiny.
• The painting represents a frown woman with purple hair and blue innocent eyes.
• The fluorescent details on her face smooth out within an almost light-colored skin.

In the second image, the painting is under black light:

• Pupils reveal that she is in dark as they are larger.
• The painting represents a dark reddish hair color of the frown woman with shinny upset blue eyes.
• Skin texture demonstrates the mixing of ordinary with fluorescence colors in an abstract way. The skin appears to be dark with messy strong brush strokes; an abstract skin is emerging.
• Due to the UV light installation, the light reflection on the painting demonstrates the color saturation in the artwork

A portfolio to illustrate visual and color literacy

A portfolio to illustrate visual and color literacy

“Crazy Waters” painting demonstrates a blue harmony along with the basic saturation scale based on blue hue!

Soft oil pastel on canvas panel ! it is the first left handed painted by Tania Stefania Katzouraki. Soft Oil Pastel with pastel moved around with fingers and finished with hairspray extra hold shinny hold - the hairspray makes it shinny!

Crazy Waters! Multiple currents from multiple directions! Those currents are impossible to cut !

Art Prints

“Happy Tailoring” painting demonstrates contrast and saturation mainly when it is viewed under UV light (black light), under which, due to the fluorescent colors a different view of the painting emerges.

Digital music inspired the painter.
I hope the viewer will feel the vibes of fluorescent colors under black light.
Fluorescent acrylic colors are brilliant on canvas as a first layer and provide a dual view for the painting:

one under black light and

one under white light (day light)

“Romantic Thunder light” demonstrates the analogous (orange and red) and complementary (blue and yellow) color scheme on a landscape painting. Spatial depth is presented with temperature contrast of blue thick line to contrast the surrounded saturation.

Photography Prints

“Fluo Frown Woman” painting demonstrates contrast and emphasis with the mixture of ordinary with fluorescent colors to create the eye of the woman. Pupils get tiny when painting is in dark and under black light, whereas pupils get large when painting is in day light. There is a nice easy to follow eye flow on the coloring of the skin with a balanced face design.
-Inspired from the Guiditta e Oloferne by Caravaggio
-Wrinkles above nose, blushing cheeks, nerves and eye look outshine in darkness expressing proud frustration

-Fluorescent colors were used to present into the portrait painting two styles of the same woman:

one with dark hair and shinny upset blue eyes and

one with blond hair and innocent less upset eyes
Photography Prints

-When in dark hair and only under black light installation the woman is in darkness and pupils reveal it as they get larger, whilst when in blond hair and under room light the woman is in light and pupils reveal it as they are tiny.

“Crying Girl” painting demonstrates the relationship figure-ground which is presented with the technique of the use of lines to define the ground level of the painting.
Inspired from the "Blue Nude" by Pablo Picasso!
The girl is crying!

“Glasses full of love portion” painting demonstrates:

a warm environment when it is under day light and

cool environment when it is under black light in the dark.

Fluorescent colors act as a light influence on the ordinary colors.

Shadow colors are stronger at night (under black light) and lighter at white light, thus the shadows come from artificial lighting of the inside space. All shadows fall perfectly well to the right except the one next to the glasses. Shadows reveal a plastic candle instead of a candle with a real flame!

“Church” demonstrates the split analogous schemes of blue and green through the sky and the trees that surrounds the church.
A lonely church in nature with a dark cross appearing among the dark clouds.

Art Prints

“Really sick of some people” painting uses green on the skin of the face and pink to emphasize face characteristics to take out the unwell feeling and the bad psychology of the face girl at the painting.
